Heartwarming Christmas 2025: First Senior Center of Georgia (FSCofGA) Brings Holiday Joy to Vietnamese Seniors in Norcross, GA

Norcross, GA (December 11, 2025) — On December 17, 2025, the First Senior Center of Georgia (FSCofGA) will host its annual Christmas celebration “Heartwarming Christmas”, spreading holiday cheer and compassion to Vietnamese and minority seniors throughout Metro Atlanta.

Giving the Gift of Warmth

The hallmark of this year’s celebration is FSCofGA’s “Gifts of Warmth” initiative, through which the center will give away 50 winter coats to its day care members — part of a larger goal to distribute 1,000 coats to seniors in need across Georgia.

This program highlights FSCofGA’s dedication to senior wellness, safety, and dignity, ensuring that aging adults experience not just care, but also community and belonging.

Sponsors supporting this heartwarming initiative include Impact Law Injury, Metro City Bank, Legacy Case Management, Inc., Charles Schwab, Lang Luu (WSB), Phở Đại Lợi, HomeSpaces, Franklin Ly, Second Chance Management, Bowman Law Firm, Creative Planning, VN Pharmacy, and Excelsior Healthcare.

An Evening of Celebration and Community

The holiday event will feature remarks from distinguished guests, including Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Nick Masino and Georgia State Representative Marvin Lim.

Representative Lim commended FSCofGA’s continuous community service, saying:

“One of my favorite things is to spot a First Senior Center van in the community. It reminds me of the work they do connecting seniors to food, health, and social programs they may not get otherwise. In this season of giving, I am grateful for what FSC gives all year long.”

Guests will enjoy a winter wonderland-inspired celebration at FSCofGA’s 26,000-square-foot Norcross facility, complete with festive costumes, traditional Vietnamese food, music, dancing, and a special performance of the beloved holiday song Christmas Harmony by the FSCofGA staff.

A Message from CEO Von Tran

Von Tran, Founder and CEO of First Senior Center of Georgia, shared her heartfelt inspiration for the event:

“As a child, my family received Christmas coats from local churches when we couldn’t afford them. Today, ‘Gifts of Warmth’ is my way of giving back — ensuring that others feel the same warmth, dignity, and hope we once received.”
