Empowering Vietnamese and minority seniors through accessible and appropriate cultural and language health and social services.
Vision: Our vision is to cultivate a thriving community where Vietnamese and minority seniors discover a sense of belonging, experience exceptional care, and lead fulfilling lives during their golden years.
Mission: First Senior Center of Georgia is dedicated to providing quality culturally and linguistically competent health and social services to Vietnamese and minority seniors in Georgia.
From our humble nonprofit beginnings, we have expanded to be a part of a 26,000 square feet facility in Norcross, Georgia, serving approximately 3200 households per month. Since its establishment in 2018, the First Senior Center of Georgia has evolved into a lifeline for low-income seniors, offering crucial services such as language support, food pantry assistance, benefits enrollment aid, senior wellness programs, affordable housing support, end-of-life care, transportation, and crisis management. The FSCofGA has made significant contributions through direct services in Georgia since 2018. Our services have impacted individuals in the Metro Atlanta area, especially in the following counties: Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, etc.
FSCofGA is actively working to expand its transportation system and aiming to directly increase the affordable housing stock for seniors by developing affordable senior housing in Gwinnett County.
