NORCROSS, GA – June 24, 2025 – Ms. Von Tran, Director of First Senior Center and First Senior Center of Georgia, has been selected to appear on Channel 2 WSB-TV’s prestigious program, “Georgia Game Changers.” The episode is scheduled to air on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
“Georgia Game Changers” is a special program dedicated to honoring individuals who have made positive and meaningful contributions to the community. This year, Ms. Tran is one of six individuals selected to be honored and to share her inspiring story. The feature highlights the high-impact contributions of First Senior Center in serving the Vietnamese senior community and other ethnic minorities in Georgia. Since its inception, the organization has become a vital resource, providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health and social services.
Ms. Leona, Executive Producer at Channel 2 WSB-TV, spent over two months organizing the filming and interviewing of those who have witnessed and accompanied First Senior Center’s journey over the past eight years. Ms. Wendy, the program’s anchor, conducted on-site interviews at the First Senior Center Hall. She expressed deep admiration for the meaningful work Ms. Tran has done for the elderly and even enjoyed Vietnamese dishes prepared in the center’s kitchen, praising their fresh and delicious flavors.
The program will present a comprehensive look at the activities of First Senior Center and First Senior Center of Georgia, detailed and professionally produced for broadcast on Channel 2 WSB-TV.
