Letter from the
Gala Host Committee
On Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 6 p.m., First Senior Center of Georgia (FSCofGA) will host "A Night of Vietnamese Immersion." This black-tie celebration will treat guests to a once-in-a-lifetime excursion into Vietnamese culture and cuisine, all while supporting the vital work of FSCofGA — operating one of the largest food pantries for Vietnamese and other families experiencing food insecurity in the Southeast United States.
The black-tie evening — the first of its kind for FSCofGA — will explore the spirit of the Vietnamese experience, featuring enriching cultural programming, performances, and delicacies unique to events of this kind. FSCofGA, led by its founder and CEO Von Tran, will create a truly remarkable experience akin to the best Broadway and Disney World could offer together.
Attendees can expect an extravagant display of visual, aural, and cultural delights, including Vietnam's famous "Lion Dance," performances of modern and traditional Vietnamese music, opera, dance, a cultural pop-up shop, an auction, and more.
With an audience of distinguished leaders in business, public service, and philanthropy from the Atlanta area and beyond, your sponsorship will give your organization exceptional visibility and align your brand with Greater Atlanta's international community.

Honored Guest
Wayne Mason
FSCofGA has the pleasure of honoring Gwinnett County legend Wayne Mason.
Mason's work, spanning over six decades, laid the groundwork for Gwinnett County's now vibrant, thriving community.
In the 1970s, Mason served on and later led the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, establishing several initiatives that bolstered Gwinnett County's growth.
Gwinnett County's status as an international hub can be directly traced to Mason's work in civic leadership, business, philanthropy, and beyond.
In 2026, Gwinnett stands as a beacon for diversity in the United States, with 180 nationalities, 130 languages spoken, and 30.2% of the population born outside the United States.
